How to verify any project on the TNRERA website
A RERA number on a brochure means little until you check it yourself. This takes about ten minutes.

Under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, most new residential projects must be registered with the state authority before they are advertised or sold.
Open the official Tamil Nadu RERA website, find the registered projects list, and match the registration number, project name and address with what the builder has told you. Check the registration validity date and read the documents and progress updates the builder has filed.
